In humans, the trait for the ability to taste PTC is dominant over that for the inability to taste PTC. The trait for brown eyes dominant over that for blue eyes. What proportion of the offsprings of two parents each heterozygous for both characteristics of the blue-eyed tasters?
A dominant allele is denoted by a capital letter.
Let us assign T for tasters and t for those without the ability to taste.
Let us assign capital letter B for brown colour eyes and small letter b for blue colour eyes. ( Dominant B versus recessive b).
The cross is between parents with heterozygous allele for both traits so the cross is between
TtBb * TtBb
Gamates for the genotype TtBb is TB,Tb,tB,tb.

So the answer for the question what proportion of offspring is blue eyed tasters is 3/16.
